Best Watchfaces with Plenty of Details for Pebble Time (Update 30.07.15)

We’ve covered the best minimal watchfaces for Pebble Time a few days ago and you guys seemed to like it! Surely, not everyone gets excited about minimal watchfaces – obviously, the Pebble Time’s capabilities go much further than what minimalistic aesthetics allow it to display. Personally, I’m always a big fan of having time, date, weather and battery status right there on my wrist at first glance. Enough with the blah blah, here are the best watchfaces with plenty of details for Pebble Time!

 Accent

If you’re looking for a close-to-seamless transition between your watchface and the Timeline UI, this is as close at it’ll likely get. The time takes up most of the watchface’s space, but on the side you can have info for batter life, bluetooth connection, temperature and weather. You can choose between having the icons on either side of the screen and also change background, accent and time colors. Unfortunately, when you open the settings menu, you’re face with some annoying ads. But I guess we can’t complain since everything’s for free on the Pebble Appstore.

DIN Time

I really like this one for its simplicity and clarity. Still, it features pretty weather symbols. Depending on the theme, the top icon will show you the current weather conditions while the icon below will give you the day’s summary with min and max temperature. Below that, you have the weekday, date and battery level. Plus, some of the themes have really good contrast for indoor readability!

BlockSlide

BlockSlide doesn’t exactly have a TON of details, but I wouldn’t call it minimal either. You can choose between striped and plain digits, squared off or rounded corners, and a few color options (there’s also a rainbow color scheme, for the lovers out there!). The animations are what makes this watchface stand out – the digits come together layer by layer which looks great.

Studio Clock

There’s a lot that you can customize in the settings of Studio Clock – from colors, to battery status on tap…if only the Pebble Time app wouldn’t constantly crash on my phone whenever I change a setting. Anyhow, once you’ve figured it out you’re rewarded with a fancy looking watchface that gives you lots of info without being cluttered. But please, dear Studio Clock developer, please fix that settings menu, soon!

TrekV3

Look at this! You love it, don’t you? That’s because you’re a nerd. Yea, you. But that’s probably also the reason why you decided to own a Pebble Time in the first place. I’m not going to loose many words because the picture says it all – much info, many settings, dope colors.

91 Dub V3.0

This one really lets you customize the sh*t out of your Pebble Time. You can choose the colors to your liking, have various power saving mechanisms, hourly vibrations, and the list goes on…91 Dub V3.0 is another great watchface for indoor readability if you set the right colors! So far no other watchface has survived as long on my wrist as this one.

    • I had that one also on my list but didn’t cover it for some reason. I’ve now also included at link to it in the article. Thanks!

      • Nice, thanks. I’ve tried lots of them, but keep coming back to LCARS. I love the balance of cool, beauty, and functionality.
