Top 10 Best Watchfaces for Pebble Time (2/2)

Note: This is the second of two entries that together make up the top 10 best watchfaces for Pebble Time and Pebble Time Steel. You can check out part one here.

I’ll save you the intro text. You already know the deal, because you’ve read part one of our “Top 10 best watchfaces for Pebble Time” article. In case you really haven’t read part one yet, head on over there and get yourself up to speed!

Here are the remaining five faces that we really really really like:

Clear

Let’s start out with Clear. I love it just as much as Straight. In fact, to be honest, I can’t make out much difference between the two, besides the position of time/date and weather being swapped. BUT, and this is a big deal for me, Straight gives you information about the current battery status. So I guess it comes down to your personal taste and Clear being clean (pun intended) while Straight gives you more info.

Thin

If you’re looking for a very simple yet beautiful analog watchface, this is for you. It shows you the time (duh) and date, which are customizable with various splashes of color. The battery level is indicated by showing the hour markers in a certain color – yep, we missed out to capture that in the picture – sorry!

Implode

Super simple in terms of information – it shows you the time. Of course there are also option for battery level and the date. The animations of the letters imploding look quite cool, though. It’s not a watchface that I’d use as a daily driver, but I like to use it for a whiel to get change every now and then.

Titan

This is probably one of the more customizable options out there! You can adjust really anything, from colors of the watch hands, the dial, change the position and ratio of the watchface, set a screensaver, and display a ton of information, if you want to. You can make it be a battery saver by letting it display as little as possible. But you can also make it eat your battery a lot quicker if you let it display the seconds handle and extend the duration of the backlight!

Real Weather

Back when I started out using Android phones, I had a phone with a beautiful weather widget on the home screen. I was always in the search of similar widgets once I switched to Nexus devices. The look of Real Weather reminds of those cool weather widgets that made Android users be like “Ha! My phone shows me the weather without me having to open an app!” Besides showing you time, date and weather, it also keeps you informed about the juicyness of your Pebble Time with those little dots below the time.

This concludes our top 10 best watchfaces for Pebble Time. Let us know which watchfaces you like that we’ve missed out on. We’d also appreciate a comment to see if you guys like these kinds of articles to know whether we should make more of this kind. Until next time!
