Have you ever wanted to use a watchface with a picture of your choice? Well, there certainly have been ways to do that but Younique seems to do it a lot faster and more easily. While some of you may be hesitant to squish million-pixelled real life photos in to your watch, requiring you to squint your eyes to see them properly, we guess there also are some of you who’d surely love to try it out.

Usually you’d have to use your computer to create watchfaces with custom images. It’s a lot easier with Younique as you’ll need nothing more than your phone and an internet connection to do so. All you need to do is open the Younique watchface settings on your phone, head over to the link provided in the app using a browser, upload an image, come back to the settings and hit refresh. It may sound like a lot of steps but practically, it wouldn’t take any more than one and half minutes. In fact, you could bookmark the link so that you can skip the first two steps the next time want to add more photos.

So moving on to how the images actually look when they’re finally in the watch? Umm, the screen has a resolution of just 144×168 pixels so you can’t expect too much from it. Well despite that, it seems to do a good job at displaying the photos that you stuff into it. We tried out a few different pictures and most of them looked quite well and the subjects were mostly distinguishable. Unless you don’t use a group photo in which case you probably won’t recognize anyone, you’re pretty much good to go.

The watchface makers claim this to be as ‘The most personalizable face ever made for Pebble’. With abilities to add your own photos and tweak information modules like weather and health info, it does have some ring to it. It’s a paid watchface coming in at around $1.99 but they do provide a 24 hour trial so you have plenty of time to decide whether you’d want to buy it or not. Did you give it a try, did you end up purchasing it? Let us know in the comments below.
