Your Pebble Time Can Manage Tasks – With Help from Todoist

Pebble Time with Michael – Day 10

Todoist

Today I’m going to talk about another productivity app I use on all my personal devices, including my Pebble Time. That app is Todoist.

Todoist is a cloud-based cross-platform task manager. I actually use it on PCs, a Mac, an Android phone, an iPod touch, my Amazon Fire tablet, and my Pebble Time. This is its big advantage to me – it allows me to manage my tasks from every device I own.

The Pebble version of this task manager is called My Todoist. It allows you to display all Todoist tasks that are due today, or all active tasks due at any time by project category. Tasks can also be marked as completed from within this app.

A Truly Different Watch Band for the Pebble Time – NATO Band

Pebble Time with Michael – Day 9

Strap

I found this new watchband for my Pebble Time at my local Best Buy for only $6.50. It’s made by Clockwork Synergy. They produce an extensive variety of low cost watch bands, including some quick release bands just like the one that comes with the Pebble Time. My new watchband isn’t a quick release band, it is a NATO style band.

Originally designed for the British Military, where it was known as the G10 watch band, its key trait is a second shorter piece of nylon strap attached to the main strap’s buckle. Since this watch band was to be used by the military, it needed to be functional and fail-safe. The extra nylon strap has a keeper at its end through which the main part of the strap is passed through after it has been looped behind the watch. This creates a pocket, limiting the distance the case can move. As long as the strap is passed through properly and snugly on the wrist, the case will stay exactly where it was needed. A bonus feature of this design is that in the event that a spring bar breaks or pops out, the case will still be secured by the other spring bar and the watch will not fall off of your wrist.

Try a Stylish Watch Face on Your Pebble Time – With Enigma

Pebble Time with Michael – Day 8

Enigma

I’ve just started doing some serious exploration of the wide variety of watch faces available for the Pebble Time. In particular, I’ve been looking at watch faces that take advantage of the color screen of this smartwatch. As a result I’ve started using a new watch face on my Pebble Time: Enigma. I really like its look and it is pretty easy to see in a variety of lighting conditions. It’s a simple, but very stylish watch face with some interesting animation.

However, I find myself really miss the additional data offered in the Modern watch face that I’ve been using up until now and mentioned in my Day One article: current weather, date and day of the week, and Pebble battery level.
