It’s been a while since we’ve given you a selection of what we think are the best watchfaces for Pebble Time and Pebble Time Steel. A wide variety of great new watchfaces have surfaced on the Pebble appstore in the meantime, so we wanted to get back to presenting you a selection of our favourites!
Simply Digital 3
We’ve mentioned before that we’re big fans of Kiezel’s watchface collection. The same also holds true for their Simply Digital 3 watchface. As always, it combines very clean looks with great functionality – and we just love having battery, time, date and weather available at a glance. Instead of using fancy symbols for weather and battery, it indicates the various statuses (stati, for all the Latin freaks out there) through simple shapes like a circle for battery and plain text for the current weather condition. It comes with a number of preset color settings (which we realy like), but if you want to go crazy you can completely customize the color scheme of the watchface. (Did you know that Kiesel is the German word for Pebble? Coincidence?)

Timeboxed
The aesthetics might appea to the 8-bit geek in you. It features time, day of the week, date, battery level and weather including min/max temperature. Additionally, Pebble Health data and even a second time zone are also displayed. So while showing a ton of info, it still manages to keep it fairly clean and certainly not overwhelming, visually. I find it particularly cool that you can also choose between a few fonts.

Squared 4.0
I’ve mentioned multiple times, that I usually want time, date, battery and weather on my watchface…this one really doesn’t show much info, but man – it just looks so damn good. Besides the time, you can choose what should be displayed in the row below it . Between date, battery level and step goal, I usually go for battery. That info can change when you flick your wrist, but I personally found that just more annoying than helpful. You can choose from a few different preset colors for background, numbers and the “ornaments”…and I just like that this watchface makes your Pebble looks like it’s in flames.

BB8’s Face
The Force Awakens isn’t exactly news anymore – but after Star Wars is before Star Wars, right? So just as the first teaser trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was realeased last week, we’re in full-on hype mode again and proud to display our fandom on our wrists! BB8, currently one of the bigger stars in the Star Wars universe, is featured on a really great watchface that combines awesome looks with great functionality. Besides having my usual battery and weather details, the great animations of the cute little droid are my favorite thing about this watchface!

Brick Neon
This one is super simple, the most fancy thing you can do in the settings is to separate hours and minutes by a dot instead of a colon. Yet, I think it just looks very cool and even might have something whimsical about it. You might love it or hate it – I love it!
